A handy Coda clip for adding template tags to your campaigns

Use Coda to build your email newsletters? Wish you had shortcuts for all those pesky Campaign Monitor template tags? Thanks to Philip Downer, we've just added a handy Coda clip to the downloads section of our site. Once you get a hang of the shortcuts, it can be real time-saver, so check it out.

Using the clip, you can quickly insert commonly-used snippets of code that feature our template tags. Here are some example shortcuts:

  • cm-title [tab key] = <$title link='true' default='Enter Title Here'$>
  • cm-day [tab key] = <$currentday$>

Quatuor

The gentle colors, pretty graphics, and simple layout of this email from Epic Agency for Quatuor makes for a very pleasing email. I especially like the blue-leafed tree overhanging the content and the selective blue on blue highlighting. The email could use less graphic-based text in the header and the left-hand side and I’d like to see the unsubscribe text bumped up a size or two, but overall this pretty design hits the mark.
